Our design facility is well equipped with the latest 3D modelling facility. The competency helps us to derive the solution from fabricated ferrous structures to single Aluminium castings with technical and long-term monetary benefits, towards weight reduction. At D. B. Smelting India, we provide solutions for innovative and optimized cast components that begin from studying initial drawings to producing complete finished components, with the help of the latest simulation softwares to predict the metal behavior in the casting process to avoid the casting defects in advance. This results in reduction of the actual number of trials on the shop floor which helps to achieve the 1st time right castings with minimum lead time. Computer simulation procedure based process development and die design can be used for rapid process development and die design in a shorter time

Gravity Casting Moulds

The mold is a critical component of the gravity die casting process, and its design and construction play a critical role in determining the quality and accuracy of the finished product. Proper mold design, construction, and maintenance are essential to producing high-quality parts consistently and efficiently. We are specialized into making of gravity moulds for aluminium casting .Our in house Tool room and machining setup allow us to cut down the mould making and its development time.

Foundry Pattern Shop

Having a pattern shop with conventional and modern equipments amalgamation under one roof offers us great flexibility to quickly react to the customers’ requirements. Based on the 2D drawings and 3D modelling we manufacture the tooling in Aluminium, Wood, Epoxy resin up to the length of 2 meter.

Vacuum Forming Moulds

Vacuum Forming or Thermoforming, We are into making of Auminium moulds for it A vacuum-forming mould is a perfect solution for large parts and moderate volumes Vacuum forming is done using a single mould As per the special requirements of the clients, we manufacture various types of Vacuum Forming Molds These are manufactured to provide perfect shape and dimensions Our precision-made moulds are manufactured from high-grade aluminium castings We use heat treated aluminum castings as the basic product in their manufacturing.
